Nasopure

Nasopure is a nose-washing device, intended to promote better health, particularly as relates to allergies and airborne germs. It is a product of Columbia-based BeWell Health, LLC and the invention of the company’s CEO, Dr. Hana Solomon, MD.

Old 63 Roadside Park

Old 63 Roadside Park is a city park on that covers .5 acres. Facilities include two picnic tables, a large historical plaque and a scenic overlook.

Orr Street Studios

Orr Street Studios rents studio and display space to local artists and art-related businesses. The doors to the individual studios — each with a unique, dramatic design by local artist Chris Teeter — provide a trademark to the facility.

Columbia Image Awards

The Columbia Image Awards (CIA)  are presented every two years and recognize businesses and institutional leaders whose vision, imagination and dedication have resulted in creating and enhancing places and spaces that provide a positive and lasting perception of Columbia.

Ragtag Cinema is a locally owned movie theater whose focus is showing independent, international, alternative documentary, narrative and avant-garde films. It is located in downtown Columbia in the historic, former Coca-Cola bottling plant on Hitt Street, just off Broadway.

Roots ‘n’ Blues ‘n’ BBQ

Roots ‘n’ Blues ‘n’ BBQ is a music and food festival, held throughout downtown Columbia in September/October of each year. It was originally created in 2007 as part of Boone County National Bank’s 150-year anniversary. It is held throughout downtown Columbia and attracts upwards of 20,000 attendees.
